Summer is here!!!

This weekend has been great. We finally planted a flower garden in the front. Doesn't look like much now but all those plants will triple in size. The Moose figurines are from the girls for Mother's Day. After all the hard work we got bathing suits on and the sprinkler out for the first time.

Reilly's Preschool Graduation

Reilly was very excited to be done Preschool and starting summer...not too sure if she is so excited about starting Kindergarten. She received a Children's Bible from her teachers as a parting gift and has not put it down since...she brings it in the car, the nighttime stories are now Bible stories and instead of playing she just sits on the "reading couch" and reads her Bible. It is funny.

Brookfield Zoo

Since we lived in the city we always went to the Lincoln Park Zoo (in the city)...We decided to try Chicago's other zoo...The Brookfield Zoo. The kids loved it. It is much bigger with a lot more animals and exhibits. We went with two little kids I babysit (Sydney and Lucas) and their mom.






Reilly and Emily are really taking this "Big Sister" thing seriously ;0) They felt the need to guide the litte ones around and help them with their lunch...it is so cute.

You know you live in the country when...

Here are a few shots of my neighbor lasoing the two sheep who were roaming my neighborhood. They escaped by the local farm across the street from my backyard. The girls got a real kick out of it.
