Butterflies

The girls got a butterfly kit from Nana. They received the larva in the mail and watched the catepillars grow, form cocoons and then hatch. We let them go 3-4 weeks later. Fun.

Emily's 1st Day of School - Sept. 8th

question of the day

Emily is doing great in 4 year old preschool. She actually likes school this year. No tears...and she even talks to people. This is big! Wow...what a difference. She reads her "question of the day" to her teacher every morning and then plays with her friends Melody and Isa and Kalli.

1st Grade

It is all about the outfit! Check out some of Reilly's outfit choices for her first week of school. She chooses herself and takes great pride in it...I felt the need to annouce this to the other moms at the busstop, though ;0) It is still too hot for all her new birthday cloths...it is killing her.

Reilly is doing great in 1st Grade. Her teacher is awesome this year (as oppose to the dingbat she had lastyear). She seems to love school - well, at least the social aspect of it. So, she is happy...for now I guess ;0)
