Garden
Had to build a bunny fence this year to protect my disappearing broccoli. Also expanded a bit. Things are growing great. Zuccinni, yellow squash, cucumber, green beans, yellow beans, 3 types of tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, watermelon, basil, cilantro, and lettuce. Let's hope it all fits!!!!!!!
Here are my crazy roses in the front. They hide my beautiful white daisies in the back and my tiger lilies and asian lilies. Poor planning on my part!!!!! But they are all surviving the drought.
McFarland Weekend
Had a great weekend with the McFarland Family up at their trailer/lake house. Pool, lake, beach, boating, fires, smores, park, golfcart...and more. The kids were on best behavior and loved the spot. Jim and I want to buy a place there...that is how much fun we had!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, we had our own trailer (borrowed space from a McFarland friend) but spent most of the time at Ryan's dad's trailer. They live there May through October. Beautiful house/trailer they have with a great lot. They were soooo very generous...feeding us all weekend with food and booze! Shrimp boil, steaks, grilled aparagus and mushrooms.
I really can't say enough! It was awesome. I hope we are annual visitors.
Jimmy loved boat...did not want to go in the water or on the beach. Weird.
Reilly got to drive!
Bubbles back at the McFarlands. Papa McFarland kept those kids entertained!!! (thank god)
Emily got to drive!
Not too many pics of our trailer...here is one. There was a master bedroom and bunkroom (YES, Jimmy slept in a bunk!!!) and a livingroom, small kitchen, bath, screenroom, and additional tv room. It was old (1987) but worked just fine for our little fam.

Potty training update...
Jimmy is doing really great. I am in shock still. I just thought it would be harder with him. After just under a month I would say he is completely potty trained. The last two weeks he has stopped crying while doing it. He holds it all night. He goes number two regularly with no crying...sometimes even tells us. Since the first week he has only had a few accidents. Now he just has to work on climbing up himself and dressing his pants.
I am really proud of him...and so is he!!!!!

A fun trip to the Lincoln Park Zoo today...some traffic to deal with but the whole day went great. Jimmy was good and loved the monkeys. He also loved the Zebra.
Always have to do Dip n' Dots at the Zoo!!!!
Jimmy in the Ant Tunnel with Dee Dee
Jimmy loved the Hippo and his fish tank. He kissed the tank and was yelling at the Hippo to "go" and "poo"
I call this "Emily's fish wall" since she loved it soooo much as a baby and the countless times we come here I always take a pic of her here...
Jimmy got to ride the train...most impressively WITHOUT mom!
Take Me Out to the Ball Game...
Went to the Sox Game as a family, Saturday, June 3rd. We sat in the Club Level. It was awesome...will never do it any other way again. We had an nice airconditioned walkway, fancy food and beer...couches...a beautiful day. Jimmy took a nice nap on me and then had tons of fun. The fireworks spooked him though...and the Sox got like 4-5 homeruns that game so there were lots of "booms" as Jimmy called them...he cried each time!
The funniest part of the video is my annoyance with Reilly...
Jimmy dancing a little...
