Emmy's Baking Party....FINALLY!

Well, due to a lice outbreak in her classroom, Emmy's kid party was rescheduled to tonight. It was awesome and went so smoothly. I had my babysitter help me and this was the key point to the party success...I have done this a few times now...will never have another party again without a "helper" :) It make s all the the difference.

Emmy said she had a lot of fun! Poor Jimmy had to leave with Jim a few minutes into it...he cried...he was so sad...He wanted to stay with the girls. I feel bad now...but at the time didn't think the party would go well with little Mister Center of Attention there.

So, we made a placemat, chef hat, and apron. We rolled and cut out fondant shapes to decorate cakes. And then we iced and decorated the cakes! All while listening to Taylor Swift of course! Played a little freeze dance, ate a little supper, and ate a little cake and ice cream. Wow! we fit it all in...

All Emmy's wonderful gifts. Girls were sooo thoughtful. She got lego, and journals, and a fashion sketch pad. You could tell the girls really thought about it and had input in the gifts. Emily was really touched...
